The Amherst Jr. A Ramblers believe in the community and are involved heavily in various functions that take place throughout the year.  The Ramblers take pride in serving the community and in giving back to the people and businesses who support them. 

Some new community events set for this year include 'fan appreciation night' at Pizza Delight.  On given nights families will be able to eat with their favourite Rambler and get lots of pictures and autographs.  Also, the Ramblers are teaming up with Polly Cello to create a charity where they can raise money together for a special cause.

Some of the functions that the Ramblers will be attending this year include:

1.  The Terry Fox Run (Sept.17, 2006)

2.  The Annual Amherst Christmas Parade.

3.  Autographs sessions at Kent and other local businesses.

4.  Rememberance Day Parade.

5.  Christmas Food Drive.

6.  School visits for various talks.

7.  Christmas For Kids.
